Liz began her teaching career in 1996 at Grandview Swim School in Monterey Park. She swam through out high school and continued teaching during the summer months at Grandview. A year after graduating from high school she was invited to be the JV swim coach at Gabrielino High School. In addition to coaching she taught swim lessons for the city of Sierra Madre for two years. In 2010, she began teaching swim in South Orange County while obtaining a Masters in Special Education from Loyola Marymount University. After successfully running her own private swim school for five years, she has now become a part of the world renowned Nadadore Foundation.

Coach Brad, Instructor

Brad started swimming on the Nadadores swim team when he was five years old. He continued swimming for the team for 13 years. In high school he swam as a national team member, as a Nadadore. He was also a Varsity swimmer for Capistrano Valley High School. In 2015, Brad became an assistant coach for the Satellite Program for the Nadadores Within one year he was promoted to head coach. In addition to coaching, he was asked to share his talents with the swim school and began teaching lessons in 2016. He enjoys seeing his students progress through and hopes in the future his students will surpass his highest level of swimming.

Coach Evin, Instructor

Evin has been teaching swim lessons to kids of all age groups and experience levels for the past 5 years. He swam competitively and played water polo for 4 years at Capistrano Valley High School and for an additional year at Saddleback College. When teaching, Evin knows how to motivate his swimmers to do their best and learn the proper techniques quickly while also having fun and staying safe.

Coach Jodi, Adaptive Aquatics Instructor

BA in Psychology emphasis on early childhood development

WSI certified | Lifeguard certified

First Aid for First Responder certified

Swimming with Autism training

Training and certified with SICS- Italian Water Rescue Organization. Jodi and her canine partner Cori are trained for the pool and ocean.

Now her own wonderfully spirited young boys have taught her that not all Special Needs look the same. High needs, spirited, ADD, ADHD, Autism-, Sensory processing disorder, Cerebral Palsy, SMA, Down Syndrome and the list goes on.

Coach Kimmie, Instructor

Kimmie swam for the Nadadores for four years and then continued swimming and playing water polo for San Juan Hills High School. She is currently attending Cal State University San Marcos and serves as the treasurer for the swim club there. Kimmie hopes that every parent and child sees the pool as a safe place to have fun year round. As an instructor, she love to see kids learn and grow as they work their way into becoming a better swimmer.

Ms. Kristin, Office Manager

Kristin is a true Southern California girl growing up swimming at the beach and the local pools. For over 8 years, Kristin ran a strict production calendar and deadlines for a major clothing brand. She is a mom to three young children and is excited to work with the Nadadores Swim School to ensure that every child that is booked on our schedule becomes a stronger swimmer.

Coach Laura, Instructor

Laura earned a Bachelors of Science in Biology from Chapman University and her Secondary Teaching Credential from UCI. She taught high school biology for 7 years before having 3 children of her own, currently ages 9, 7 and 4. She enjoys teaching because she loves seeing the joy on a kid’s face when they accomplish a new skill they have been striving to achieve. Laura is looking forward to starting her second year as an instructor. She says “I believe that being around water should be a fun and enjoyable experience and I truly believe every child should learn to swim.”

Coach Lauryn, Instructor

Bachelor of Arts in Child Development

She been teaching swim lessons for about 5 years now and I love every minute of it. She played water polo and swam all four years in high school and for two years at Orange Coast College. She transferred to Chico State in the fall of 2016 and will be graduating in May 2018 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development. She has a passion for teaching and always have since she can remember, and this is right up her alley! She hopes to change the life of every student and swimmer for the better at every chance I get. Coach Savannah, Instructor

Savannah has been swimming competitively since she was five years old. She swam under Coach Bill Rose for two years, and she currently trains under Mark Schubert as a Mission Viejo Nadadore National Team member. In high school she was part of the varsity swim team all four years, and she was awarded the MVP for three of those years. She taught water safety to elementary school students with the help of USA Swimming starting at a young age. Savannah is very passionate about swimming and encouraging others to love the water just as much. She is an experienced swim teacher for all levels of swimming. In 2016 Savannah competed for a Division I college swim program, and she will be returning to Division I swimming in Fall 2018 at the University of Kentucky.

Coach Steven, Instructor

Instructor Steve Derman swam for the Mission Viejo Nadadores for two years. During his time there, he swam mostly with the National Team under Coach Richard, Coach Rose, and Coach Bill. Steve has been working with the Mission Viejo Nadadores Swim School since August of 2016. He has experience teaching children of all levels and ages, from beginners to advanced. Steve is a graduate of Aliso Niguel High School and swam on the school team for three years. He is currently enrolled at Saddleback College and is majoring in Political Science. Steve loves working with children and hopes to create a warm and friendly place where both students and parents can feel relaxed and have fun.

Coach Tiani, Instructor

She have been swimming since she was 4 and haven't stopped since. She started with lessons and swam competitively in middle school. She played water polo and swam at Tesoro High School and iscurrently on the Nadadores Masters Team. In her free time she like to listen to music, go to the beach, and go hammocking. She coaches for the Nadadores Swim Team, Summer Junior Teams and enjoys teaching lessons with the Nadadores Swim School.
